Tzenka Dianova is recognized internationally for her masterful and insightful interpretations of 20th Century music by some of the world’s most foremost composers. Since her debut at the age of five, the Bulgarian-born pianist has been extremely active on the international stage, winning numerous prizes in piano competitions. In 1998 she moved to Canada where she pursued her interest in contemporary avant-garde music. During her doctoral studies, Tzenka wrote a book on the prepared piano of John Cage. She has recorded for Bulgarian Radio and Television, CBC and Radio New Zealand; her two CDs are to be released by Atoll Music.
