The 2018 winter/spring season opener of 15 Minutes of Infamy as always will bring you performances by local and regional word artists! This season Infamy takes on a dinner/cabaret style at a new location: the Green Olive Room,150 Skinner Street, Nanaimo. The new venue features a full food and beverage menu. The event begins with an open mic for poetry, storytelling, fiction, slam, and original lyrics from 7:00 to 8:15 followed by featured performers: Ladysmith singer/songwriter, Robin Ramalho; Cumberland poet, Adelia MacWilliam; a 3-generation poetry amalgam with Pet Smekal, Susan Pederson, and Taryn Pickard; and spoken word artist, Steven J. Thompson. Doors open at 6:30 pm.
