Salt Spring Energy Strategy presents the Salt Spring Island Eco-Living & Home Tour. The event is held on Salt Spring every two years and showcases the best in eco-friendly homes and living environments.

It's the perfect opportunity to learn more about energy-efficient construction and greenbuilding materials, rainwater harvesting, renewable energy, organic growing, electric vehicles and more. Join us on this self-guided tour of 10 properties for an inspiring and informative day.

Tickets

Tickets are $20 and available from Salt Spring Books, Windsor Plywood and Elements Home Design on Salt Spring Island, and online at http://saltspringecolivinghometour.eventbrite.ca/.

You will need to exchange your printed ticket for a tour pass and map. From 9am on the day of the tour, please bring your printed ticket to:

Salt Spring Books (104 McPhillips Avenue, Salt Spring Island)
OR
The Eco-Living and Home Tour stand at Fulford Harbour, Salt Spring Island (9am-12noon only)

Transportation

This event is a self-guided tour. To minimize the number of car journeys around Salt Spring Island we encourage carpooling. When you come to pick up your tour pass and map please let us know if you have space in your vehicle or you need to join up with other Eco-Tour-goers. We will help fill-up all available vehicles between 9am-10am.

Cycling on Salt Spring Island is also possible, but please note that some properties are on steep roads and road conditions vary around the island.

There is a limited bus service on Salt Spring Island. Please see BC Transit schedules.
