Two sittings each day 12:00pm and 2:00pm

Start your holiday celebrations early! The Old School House Arts Centre and the Qualicum Beach Museum Society invite you to revisit the charming tradition of tea in the afternoon. Delicate finger sandwiches; tender scones, rich cakes, fancy pastries and the finest teas will be lavishly presented using vintage and antique tableware including delicate teacups, fine linens and silverware.

Quiet piano background music playing seasonal tunes will complete the experience. The Mid Island Floral Design Club will create a magical atmosphere with artistically decorated trees that will twinkle with holiday cheer.

Imaginative Christmas wreaths designed by the club will be displayed and a silent auction will begin to help fill the stockings of local charities.

An exhibition of 50 paintings painted by your favourite local artists on canvases donated by OPUS Art Supplies will be auctioned starting at $50.00 each with the proceeds going to the local Food Bank.

The Winter Victorian Tea, two sittings daily 12:00 and 2:00 on Friday, November 27 and Saturday, November 28 in The Old School House Arts Centre tickets are $15.00 or $50.00 for a table of 4.

Friday will feature a men’s choir, Men of Accord singing a varied program and on Saturday the Vintage Clothing Lady, Merlyn Patten, has been invited back to dazzle the room with a vintage fashion show. Her segment is called “ Putting Some Sparkle in Christmas”. The models will be wearing glamour dresses from the 1960’s- 1990’s celebrating icons like Marilyn Munroe, Joan Collins and Princess Diana, who are remembered for their fashion style.
