The Tempest, directed by Breann Gallacher.
Starting August 7, the Gem O' the Isle in Cowichan Station (Koksilah Road) will become the hub of all things theatrical in the valley. This is the seventh year in a row The Shawnigan Players are presenting a full live theatre show with a large cast in colourful costumes in the fairy-tale-like surrounding of a small orchard and under the starry, warm August sky.
Whether you have seen a show here before or not, prepare to be entertained by the humour of The Merry Wives of Windsor and be captivated by Shakespeare's last play, The Tempest, all in the best possible surroundings for live plays of this kind.
