Bowker Creek Park blossoms with over 40 artists practicing their craft al fresco, while interacting with several thousand visitors who stroll by admiring their works. The beautiful dappled light under the canopy of trees along the creek is a perfect setting for an exceptional art show. This year you can enjoy your favourite local artists as well as 4 guest artists, including internationally renowned Pat Martin Bates, artist and author Robert Amos, Marion Evamy of Red Art Gallery, and Marty Machacek with his crooked architectural creations. Featured each year are select youth artists from our community, many of whom go on to become emerging artists with promising careers. And because art is for everyone, we will again host a community art table for those from 2 years to 92 to participate in the making of art. Our diversified selection of art forms offers paintings to pottery, and sculpture to jewelry. Don't miss this wonderful event organized by the Oak Bay Community Artists' Society!
