A Celebration of the Flute from Baroque to Blues

You will hear the flute in a wide variety of musical settings, including a musical precis of Mozart's Magic Flute. We'll also play the Pachelbel Canon and a selection from the Phantom of the Opera- All I Ask Of You.
Bruce Farquharson will perform the famous Vocalise by Rachmaninoff, accompanied by Dave Klinger.
Jazz styles include the Swingin' Shepherd Blues and selections from Claude Bolling's Picnic Suite.
Come and be entertained by music in celebration of the flute with two excellent local players, accompanied by cello and piano/harpsichord.
