The Celebration Singers are delighted to salute the City of Courtenay with their spring concert. In honour of the City’s 100th year the choir will add this exciting show to June’s homecoming events.

With 70 plus voices this grassroots group has expanded and refined its sound, and has achieved a growing reputation as a delightfully entertaining “must see” act.  Guest performers, the GP Vanier Harmonic Minors, will bring their youthful talent, passion for music and their best wishes to the stage as well!

Creative genius Jenn Forsland directs the Celebration Singers and the Harmonic Minors and is one of the Valley’s most talented and sought after musical directors and teachers.  She has once again conjured up a dynamic program of diverse music. With something for everyone, it is bound to be a delightful evening.

If you appreciate Canadiana there will be arrangements by Brian Tate, Bruce Coburn, Amy Stephen and Stan Rogers. If you are a Beatles fan they’ve got your number.  Should you prefer gospel… get ready to rock, or sit back and be wooed by the classical and contemporary selections. The brilliant pianist Sean Mooney will accompany the choirs with his usual grace and magic.
