The Gettin Higher Choir’s
2015 Spring Season is about to start...

From first time singers to all-the-timers, from the hesitant to the eager, from the nervous to the confident the Gettin Higher Choir welcomes all voices.
We are a no-audition community choir co-directed by Shivon Robinsong (http://www.shivon.com) & Denis Donnelly (http://www.denisdonnelly.ca). We invite everyone who would like to sing more in their lives to come sing with us at any of our no-audition, no-obligation New Singers Intake Evenings for our upcoming Spring season.
We have 6 New Singers Intakes between February 16th and 26th. Two on the Peninsula and four in James Bay. For full information see our "Where, When, How" http://www.gettinhigherchoir.ca/choir_life document but here are the basics:
Mondays Feb. 16 & 23
First Unitarian Church of Victoria, 5575 West Saanich Road (opposite the Red Barn)
Tuesdays Feb. 17 & 24 and Thursdays Feb. 19 & 26
Church of Truth, 111 Superior Street (at St. Lawrence Street by Fishermans Wharf)
New Singers Orientations 7:00 to 7:30 each night followed by singing with the choir from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. Feel free to bring any interested companions.
We are a member supported choir with fees of $175 per 17 week season. Our policy, however, is that no one misses choir because of money and we have financial supports available for those who need them.
Our Spring season runs for 17 weeks to our end of season benefit concerts for the Caia Connection in Mozambique on June 12 & 13, 2015.
We are not associated with any particular religion or spiritual path but we do seek to embrace and celebrate humanitys highest aspirations through music, welcoming people of all ages and cultures and singing songs from many eras and areas.
