Carla Funk and Yasuko Thanh will be reading from their newly published memoirs. In 'Every Little Scrap and Wonder', Funk who was born and raised in the Mennonite settlement of Vanderhoof reminisces about her childhood in a small town while in her first non-fiction book 'Mistakes to Run With', Thanh writes about her turbulent coming-of-age in B.C.
Tickets $10 (including refreshments) at Tanner’s Books and online.
A package of tickets to all three events in the Spring 2020 Reading Series available for $20 at Tanner’s Books only.
All proceeds from ticket sales to support the 2021 Sidney LitFest.
