An Improvised Quentin Tarantino at the FRINGE

Sharpen your samurai sword as local improv troupe Paper Street Theatre bring their fully improvised play in the style of Pulp Fiction's Quentin Tarantino to this years Victoria Fringe Festival.
Quentin Tarantino has an incredibly distinctive style - like the trunk shot. explains director Dave Morris. Thats what well be capturing on stage when we improvise a story that feels Tarantino.
The show will be different every night as its based on audience suggestions and created with the audience. But its sure to be packed with deep conversation about trivial things, heightened dramatic tension, highly stylized violence, grindhouse music and just enough violence to pay homage to this Reservoir Dog of a filmmaker.
With a cast of nine, in full costume, its one of the biggest shows in this years Fringe. The company cast includes Pick-of-the-Fringe Christina Patterson, Atomic Vaudeville veterans Byron Kjeldsen and Chris Gabel, and M-award-winning Missie Peters. Director and Pick-of-the-Fringe Dave Morris is a "master of his art" and his "approach to improv is sophisticated" - Times Colonist. ****
