Join us for the Public Season Opening of Trans-Pacific Transmissions: Video Art Across the Pacific. We invite you to explore this fascinating new exhibition as well as discover what's on in our other galleries and mansion, no admission required!

Trans-Pacific Transmissions: Video Art Across the Pacific brings together the work of artists from around the Pacific Rim to examine a broad history of trans-Pacific exchange as it has captured the imaginations of artists working in video. Anticipating the implementation of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement, a free-trade agreement designed to promote “regional economic integration”, this exhibition examines how artists have researched and engaged with a long history of trans-Pacific and trans-American trade and exchange.

Take advantage of the open house and register for your spot in our Trade Offs Artist Panel on Saturday June 4, 2016 from 2-4PM. Join the conversation with artists from the exhibition as they examine the human and social dimensions and implications of trans-Pacific trade. The work of these artists provide perpectives that challenge us to become active participants considering the impact of trade on our communities and its effect on the environment. Registration is required as space is limited. Online registration will begin Monday May 16, 2016.
