Topic and facilitator Information: Respectful Workplace (Bullying & Harassment) Change in Legislation & Policy
This engaging roundtable will inform and educate all of the legal 'supervisors' of their duties and responsibilities regarding eliminating bullying and harassment at the workplace. Participants will be able to understand their legal obligations related to current WCB bullying and harassment legislation in order to obtain and maintain a respectful workplace at all times. BONUS: If there is time, we are happy to answer any other OH&S related questions.
Participants will be able to:
Recognize and understand the legalities of current legislation, Worker's Compensation Act Part 5, and Part 3 as they apply to this topic.
Recognize employer and employee responsibilities related to bullying and harassment.
Understand the required components for compliance; and understand the obligations beyond WorkSafeBC requirements.
