Everyone welcome to join us in celebrating Metchosin's bats and HAT's work for bats across the CRD!
This community event will bring art and science together with audio and visuals of the bats that are roosting in the hall itself. Experience bats like you never have before with an amazing art installation by local artist Estraven Lupino-Smith.

Schedule:
Art installation and activities 2:00 - 5:00 pm:
-Audio and Visual recordings of Metchosin bats
-Bat box installation and demo
-Bat detectors to try yourself
-Bat arts and crafts
-Bat-themed treats by-donation (free treats for bat volunteers and stewards!)
-Candy and prizes for kids in costume!
-Bat presentation and workshop at 3:00pm includes how you can help local bats, and an update on the 2018 bat monitoring season
-Guests are welcome to stay for entertainment after 5 pm and are encouraged to participate in our Silent Auction!
Entry is free but donations are welcomed and encouraged! All donations will go directly to our programs, including bat conservation and stewardship!
Fundraiser dinner + entertainment - 5:00 - 8:00 pm
Dinner $25 by RSVP.
-Silent Auction (ends at 7:00 pm) - bid on spectacular items from local businesses and creators!
-Musical entertainment - Listen to our good friend and wonderful musician Jill Robinson and band
-Fundraiser Dinner - Join HAT for a delicious dinner. Dinner will be available for purchase after 5 pm, but admission to the hall is Free. Cost $25. Please RSVP if you will be purchasing dinner!.
