Celebrated author Caroline Woodward will be presenting her new book Light Years: Memoir of a Modern Lighthouse Keeper at Curious Coho Books in Port Alberni. Light Years tells Caroline's story about leaving security for adventure and self-rediscovery.

The romance of modern lighthouse keeping is told with eloquent introspection, as it gives way to the practical realities of isolation, physical labour—and learning to live a happy, healthy and creative life on the lights despite all of this.
