Brass on the Barge - Victoria Summer Music at Ogden Point

Victoria Summer Music Festival has added three free daytime concerts at the new Ogden Point Barge located between the cruise ship terminal and the historic breakwater in a pilot project partnered with the Greater Victoria Harbour Authority.

Victoria’s own “Festive Brass” – a brass quartet in high demand for guest appearances with Vancouver Island ensembles will be there to entertain people of all ages, with the beautiful backdrop of the Na'Tsa'Maht - The Unity Wal mural depicting the art of local First Nations, the beautiful Juan de Fuca Strait and the snowcapped peaks on the Olympic Peninsula. Brass quartet lovers will recognize the members of the Festive Brass: Stevan Paranosic, trumpet, Bruce Hurn, trumpet, Nick La Riviere, trombone and Robert Fraser, bass trombone.
