Cumberland's own Roller Derby team, the Brick House Betties, invites women 18+ years old to check out and try the fastest growing female sport in the world. Roller derby is played on roller skates not roller blades and has found its way to the Comox Valley.
No previous roller skating or roller derby experience necessary. We'll teach you everything you need to know.
Safety gear is required to participate. Helmet, mouthguard, knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards.
Contact us before the event and we will try to arrange safety gear and quad skates for you to borrow.
There is a roller derby watching social being held at the Waverley Hotel following the event at 2pm.
