Inspired by jazz greats The Keith Jarrett Trio, and Steve Swallow while including impressionistic elements from the likes of Chopin and Gerswhin, this trio delivers compositions that are creative, melodic and interactive. Combine these talents with a casual on stage banter and spontaneity and you�ve got a performance that will leave you wanting more.

James McRae is a versatile Drummer/Composer who has come off a busy 2013 performance schedule. Aside from delighting audiences with several Jimmy Smith Tribute shows in late December, he's performed with many well known jazz and blues musicians, most notably Jennifer Scott and Rene Worst; Miles Black's 'Count Basie/Duke Ellington Tribute'; Boogie Woogie bluesman David Vest; 'The Music of Jimmy McHugh' with Ken Lister and Miles Black; Victoria�s Latin dance band 'Kumbia'; Connor Stewart; and "5 Note" Soul Jazz group.

Nico Rhodes is a wonderfully creative Pianist/Composer/Arranger who just completed his symphonic arrangements for the music of Rick Scott, which were performed by the VISO in February 2014. He is a 2013 Vancouver OVATION AWARD nominee and was the musical director for the 2013 Chemainus Theatre�s production of 'It's A Wonderful Life', adding to his long list of music direction credentials - quite impressive for someone only 24 years old!

Eugene Burton is a Bassist/Guitarist/Composer who has enjoyed a musically varied year doing bass and guitar session work with a wide variety of musicians, including Mikaila Tombe, Alexandria Maillot and Ken Lavigne. Eugene also had the pleasure of performing in 3 recent Chemainus Theatre productions.
