The Quest for a Habitable Exoplanet Over the past 10 years, Humanity's knowledge about other planetary systems has taken a leap forward. We now know of thousands of exoplanets from various observational techniques.
I will discuss this revolution and the various upcoming steps needed to identify and confirm a nearby habitable rocky planet, i.e. the planet that will be the focus, in the distant future, of our first interstellar probe and colonization.
