Habitat Acquisition Trust’s Contracting Biologist Tania Tripp and HAT’s resident bird-nerd and Community and Development Coordinator, Ashlea Veldhoen share findings from recent surveys for Western Screech-owls. The quest for owls is a volunteer-based project which focused on using Audio Recording Units and specialized software to determine the presence of Western Screech-owls in habitats across the CRD.
