Calvin Vollrath in Concert: Calvin Vollrath is the quintessential 'Canadian' Old-Time fiddler steeped in this country's great 300 year old fiddle traditions. Calvin's playing is haunted by all the greats including Don Messer, Graham Townsend, Ward Allen and Ned Landry plus being M�tis he also brings that unique tradition alive � he also loves swing, bluegrass, Texas and those Southern US styles so you can always expect him to pull out these tunes at his concerts. Calvin is recognized as one of the country's finest judges and educators but most notably he will go down in history for being this country's most prolific and finest composer of Old-Time Tunes, many of which he has recorded on over 50 albums. Joining Calvin for the evening will be Daniel Lapp and Mark Sullivan.
