Cedar WI started having their Blackberry Tea 8 years ago to commemorate the start of World War 2 and to celebrate the roll that Cedar WI along with WI groups all over the country played in the war effort.
Cedar WI sent pounds of blackberry jam to the UK. BC WI contributed 162.35 tonnes of jam over the course of the war.
Cedar WI is proud to be helping the community of Cedar since 1924
