The Cedric Literary Awards writing competition has been created to attract unpublished English and French-speaking authors of fiction, creative non-fiction and poetry, and First Nations writers, from across British Columbia, 50 years of age or better.
Four winners will each be presented a cheque for $3,000 for their work in fiction, creative non-fiction, poetry and First Nations writing.
This is the first year of The Cedric Literary Awards, a unique writing competition in Canada that is fast gaining in popularity among the 50+ demographic.
