National Tree Day serves as a celebration for all Canadians to appreciate the great benefits that trees provide us - clean air, wildlife habitat, reducing energy demand and connecting with nature. The public is invited to join staff to plant trees at Esquimalt’s Gorge Park.
Esquimalt's National Tree Day Celebration is a part of the Branch Out program. Branch Out is focused on protecting and caring Esquimalt's Urban Forest through leadership, education and community engagement. For additional information on Branch Out, please click here.
