Change for Change Fundraiser & African Cultural Fair

The Camosun African Awareness Committee presents CHANGE for CHANGE, a silent auction and African cultural fair and market.

We're looking for Victorians of all ages to come out and help raise some funds to support various microcredit projects throughout Africa.

There will be a wide range of activities:

- a large variety of items up for auction, from household goods to donations from the local business community.

- a benefit community garage sale

- performances by the Wontanara Drum & Dance troupe

- dance workshops for kids and adults put by Moondance Dynamic Arts School, from 11 - 1.

- take part in a drumming circle! Invite your friends with drums, the more, the merrier!

- authentic African "finger-foods" as well as refreshments will be available for a small donation

- information exhibits from local NGOs involved in African issues


So if you're looking for some furniture, to help out a good cause, or just to come out for some great entertainment, come out and join us on March 21 at the Oaklands Community Center, located near Hillside Mall.
