Seedy Saturday is an extremely popular event held every year in the beginning of March. In 2020 Seedy Saturday will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. At Seedy Saturday, both the Cobble Hill Hall and the Stu Armour Hall is filled to overflow capacity with both seed and plant vendors plus gardening accessories, tools, and other local vendors of interest to the gardening community. After a long grey winter, there's nothing more exciting than the prospect of spring gardening.
Not only do the Island's early spring gardening events mark the beginning of the season of green, they are also a fantastic opportunity to network with others, to learn more about seed saving, sustainability and local food security. Swap some seeds... and some stories!
Come and join us at the Cobble Hill Seedy Saturday located in the Cobble Hill and Stu Armour Halls - 3550 Watson Avenue and 1438 Fisher Road in the Cobble Hill Village.
