It's our very first Community Farm Day, and you're invited!

The Farm at Cedar Woods is now privately owned, but we do want to continue the tradition of community involvement that was previously such an important part of the farm.

We've got plenty of ideas in store for future events, but we're starting off slowly as we're still getting settled in. That's why this first Community Farm Day is going to be a relaxed, low-key event.

Take an informal tour and taste some goodies from the market garden; visit with our "hairy cows" (highland cattle) and enter your suggestions for names; help feed the chickens and learn the "chicken call." You might even get a kiss from one of our alpacas!

This is a casual, drop in event, and you're welcome to bring a picnic lunch. We have some picnic tables, or bring your own blanket and enjoy your picnic on the grass.

If you'd like to purchase produce while you're here, we guarantee you won't find anything fresher�fill out an order form as you stroll through the gardens, then give us your form when you're ready to see the rest of the farm. We'll pick your produce while you have lunch or continue your tour. When it's time to leave, just pick up and pay for your order on the way out. Easy, fun and fresh!

Everyone is welcome, so bring the kids and grandparents, but please leave pets at home out of consideration for our farm animals. And for safety reasons, children MUST be accompanied by and under the direct supervision of a responsible adult while on the farm.
