If labourers use their hands, craftsmen use their hands and their head and artists use their hands, head and hearts, the members of Cowichan Valley Heritage quilters are truly artists. We use fabric to create quilts to secure memories and to warm hearts.

We are the Cowichan Valley Heritage Quilters and have been active in the valley since 1984. We are a fun-loving group who support, encourage and inspire each other in the art of quilt making - whether the quilt is for a king-size bed or the smallest of wall hangings. There is a constant sharing of new or old methods, guest speakers and challenges, all of which keep us engaged in the art. We donate over 200 quilts a year in and around the valley to those in need. The Cowichan Valley Heritage Quilters meet every Monday morning at the St. Peter’s Quamichan hall from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. There will be coffee and tea waiting for you as well something to munch on. We do have a $2.00 drop in fee, our annual membership is $40.00. Oh yes - bring some hand work, of any kind.
