Create a Unique Fibre and Bead Collar

In this creative and exciting workshop you will learn how to make unique intricate long beads, using ribbon, thread and seed beads.The techniques applied in these creations are wrapping, stitching, embroidering and beading.

Each student will choose to make and complete either a collar, a bracelet, or 2-3 long beads. Lots of individual attention and demonstrations of each step will help you create your own individual masterpieces.

Minimal sewing skills are required. This class requires some attention to fine detail and handiwork, so reading glasses are helpful! Other supplies will be available.

A wide choice of ribbon, lace, decorative thread and beads, tubing, wires and findings will be provided for you to choose from, but you are welcome to bring any special beads or charms, ribbon or lace, to make your creation ‘your own’.
