Learn how to make your own herbal first aid kit to have on hand for treks out into the woods or your backyard!
We will talk about the medicinal plants used in the kit, what their medicinal properties are and how to use them. We will work together to assemble a first aid kit including: a wound salve, insect sting remedy, wound powder.
You will leave with a list of items to stock your first aid kit, how to identify common plants used in first aid, the products made together in class and a new way to treat cuts, stings and bruises.
Presenter Bio: Rebecca Singer is a Medical Herbalist, combining modern scientific understanding of herbs and health with the traditional knowledge of healing. Rebecca has been working with plants as an avid gardener, artist, and educator for the past fifteen years.
