This Canadian folk music super-group is a collaboration of three outstanding, seasoned songwriters: Shari Ulrich, Bill Henderson and Roy Forbes � as brilliant a teaming of three disparate talents as a Canadian West Coast accident could ever be. This year the trio of Canada�s most unique and well-loved singer/songwriters celebrate their 25th year of sharing the stage.

They first joined forces in 1989 for a proposed one time only appearance at the Vancouver Winter Roots Festival. The artistic and musical success of that first concert led to UHF quickly becoming a fixture on the Canadian music scene, leaving audiences calling for more of the powerful acoustic energy of this unique talent pool.

Vancouver-born Henderson is best known as the long-time lead singer and songwriter for the legendary rocking Collectors and Chilliwack bands. Ulrich, a former California Girl, began her life as a musician with the paralleled Pied Pumkin, on to the Hometown Band, and a career as a solo artist; while Forbes, a Northern BC, Dawson Creek �migr�, known for years as Bim, remains a long time formidable staple on the North American folk/roots circuit.

Ulrich, Henderson and Forbes � indeed, each continues a solo recording and performance career to this day � but it took a special focus to come up with tunes that suited the trios seamless blend of folk, rock, country and pop. Now, after 20 years and two recordings, Shari, Bill and Roy still find the collaboration a refreshing break from their busy solo careers continuing the UHF tradition of solid playing and that inimitable blend of three distinct solo voices.
