Our dinners are unique, we pick a theme and create a multi-course tasting menu based on local products and global cooking styles. Each one is different and changes from season to season, year to year. We introduce you to your food and provide background into the sourcing and preparation of each dish served during the dinner. Our clients come from near and far to experience our truly local style of cooking. We always weave a lot of foraged wild food into the mix – it makes for an ultimate local dining experience.
Grass Fed Beef Dinner – June 18th (Fathers Day Weekend) – A global menu of beef dishes including a whole striploin cooked over apple wood.
Apps:
- Beef tartar, Asian flavours, steamed bun
- Marinated Beef sate with peanuts, lime and shredded vegetable salad
Plates:
- Braised beef shortrib and pale ale bun with leek and garlic jam
- Asparagus salad with air dried beef, pinenut dressing
- Whole roasted beef sirloin with smoked cheddar and mushroom bread pudding, spring vegetables, porcini gravy
- Strawberry and ice wine trifle with toasted coconut shortcake, candied ginger whipped cream
