WHAT DOES THE HERBALIST COURSE COVER? LEARN TO MAKE TINCTURES, SALVES, OILS, VINEGARS, INFUSIONS, HOW TO IDENTIFY & HARVEST LOCAL WILD PLANTS LEARN ALL ASPECTS OF HERBALISM SO YOU WILL BE COMFORTABLE WORKING WITH FRIENDS, PETS, FAMILY, OR CLIENTS

I have been working with herbs for over 30 years for myself, family, my dogs. I received a master herbalist degree in 2005. I focus on teaching to share this knowledge with others, so they can identify and harvest their own local plants for remedies, work with dried herbs, and make herbalism your own. Lots of great info on pregnancy and childbirth herbs too. We do not just match an herb to an ailment.

You will learn to apply the person's body type, nutritional choices, and also to identify the root cause,to not just relieve symptoms. We are looking a whole body balance, and balancing the root cause of health issues. We use all senses to help you learn : look at the plants, feel them, taste an infusion, make a remedy, write notes, ask questions. you have a month in between classes to work with the plants, your notes, and read the extra pdf notes.

Cost is $1000 ( $100 per class, $100 deposit) one class per month (2 classes May or June) at my home in south nanaimo [email protected] to register or to set up a time to meet me $100 non refundable deposit holds your space for the course, you get a pdf at that time with pre-lesson 1 info & supply list the first 2 students who give the deposit can help me decide the actual dates of the course $100 is due at the beginning of each class By joining in, you are commiting to taking the whole course, if you miss a lesson you still need to pay for it, you are paying to take the entire course & all the material covered, I will provide the class notes & herbs for you if you miss a class.

Please make sure you can commit to the time & effort to take this course. Make sure you have time to read over your class notes, make remedies & learn this new skill. There's lots to learn! classes are 3.5 hours long: note taking, outdoor ID & harvesting of plants, hands on remedy making handouts will be given in some classes & pdf notes, plus class notes lots of support in a closed facebook group A couple of comments from my 2017 students: Thanks everyone!.
