Join the City of Campbell River and School District 72 for an evening of fun, inspiring films.
The feature film, the Clean Bin Project is an award winning documentary that follows Jen Rustemeyer and Grant Baldwin as they try to live consumer and waste-free, exploring the larger issues of garbage in North America. Featuring interviews with renowned artist, Chris Jordon and marine pollution expert, Captain Charles Moore, the film presents the serious topic of waste reduction with optimism, humour, and inspiration for individual action. Come discover what's involved in a competition where less is more!
The evening will also include films from School District 72's Going for Green! contest with awards presented by the Clean Bin Project's dynamic duo.
A collection of community booths will be on display including the Compost Diva, Bike to Work Week, Greenways Land Trust, the Youth Action Committee and more...
