This lecture is designed for urban gardeners who wish to grow their own food. PHC instructor Manon Tremblay will help you design your landscape using edible species. You will learn about plant requirements for fruit trees, berry bushes and canes, herbs, and vegetables and how to care for them. Topics in this workshop will include small scale farming, food forestry, container gardening, vertical and roof gardens. Find out how to choose the right plant for the right location, improve your food production, and learn about organic fertilizers and best water practices.
