Shawnigan Lake Museum will open a pocket sized gallery with original works by WORLD RENOWNED PAINTER, EJ Hughes!
Shawnigan Lake was a sanctuary for the artist for over 20 years. It is fitting that everyday items of such a quiet and modest man should be preserved in a community museum just down the road from where he lived, worked and is now buried.
Pat Salmon, Hughes\' trusted friend and official biographer, will be in attendance for the reception.
NOTE: Due to space limitations, we ask that you do not bring children to this event.
