The Elasmosaur’s birthday is fast approaching and this year the fossil will be 80,000, 029 years old.
the museum is inviting the community to visit, see the exhibits, talk to the experts and bring in fossils for identification.
The singing of “Happy Birthday” and cake cutting will be at 11:30 am.
Admission to the event is by donation.
This is the 29th year since the discovery of the Elasmosaur fossil in the Puntledge River.
