Everybody's Guide to Meditation and Self Healing

There is within each of us a powerful medicine, a natural healing resource we access through conscious relaxation and intention. Meditation is one of the conduits we can use to tap into this force.
We are made up of networks of nerves and sensory organs that continually interpret messages from our outer and inner environment. This interacts with and is powered by a network of channels and meridians that drive energy throughout our body.
Meditation allows your body, spirit and mind to connect the energy from within with the energy from without. Once that connection has been made healing can be directed and guided through intention, specific qigong exercises, meridian massage and energy psychology.
This workshop is Everyone's Guide to Meditation and Self Healing. In it you will learn the fundamental techniques of meditation and self healing. Dr. John Yim and Beth Hendry-Yim, the creators of the program, have combined the ancient healing and meditation art of Qigong with Ayur Vedic techniques of self healing to produce a method of meditation and self healing that allows you to tap into your own inherent and powerful healing energy.
In this two evening workshop Dr. Yim will be demonstrating and teaching: Specific meditation techniques Three Dragon Basics The Power of Meridian Massage How to Activate the Intuitive Healing System The importance of breathwork and focus and how to use both for healing The Healing Circle How to create and direct your own medicine through a moving meditation and more!
This workshop is for everyone interested in developing and controlling the relaxation response through conscious relaxation and meditation. It will give you practical, hands-on experience not only with meditation but also with self healing.
