Residents of Fairfield are looking to their own backyards and public spaces to grow food and will use a Panel Discussion on April 15 to get sprung. Local food growers and advocates will come together to speak about the why and how of growing our own food.
Geoff Johnson, local permaculture expert; Chloe Markgraf, coordinator and spokesperson of the Fairfield Gonzales Community Garden Project; Gabe Epstein, of the Gorge Tillicum Urban Farmers group; and Scott Davis, president of Friends of Renewable Energy BC will join together to present an informative and engaging panel discussion on local food growing issues. Following the panel discussion will be entertainment from local musicians, as well as complimentary delectable snacks and refreshments.
