11 year old Elijah Kim will perform Vivaldi's Spring violin concerto music with the Cowichan Consort Orchestra. Elijah is this year's 2018 Concerto Competition Winner. Luke Kim and Mai Ikermura will play cello and viola respectively and perform as the 'runners up ' with their concerti movements. Robert Mari will also conduct Beethoven's Eroica Symphony No. 3, a major work written by Beethoven at the time he began to grow increasingly deaf.
A delightful evening with three young soloists and beautiful music by Beethoven, Vivaldi, Haydn, and Bruch.
