We are a group of caring individuals who provide comfort items to those in need in the Cowichan community with emphasis on children, the displaced, seniors and those experiencing sudden trauma/loss. Our recipients include local hospitals, care facilities, School District 79, womens and homeless persons shelters, local daycares and other charitable or service groups (community services, RCMP, firefighters, first responders, displaced persons organizations.) We always need and welcome more helping hands! We need sewers (sewing and serger machines provided,) quilters, knitters and crocheters. Fabric, notions, yarn and needles/hooks provided.
