For 30 years, the Georgia Strait Alliance has been a voice for the Salish Sea, advocating for solutions to the region's most pressing marine and environmental issues. The fight is not over, and we need your help to tackle some of our coasts’ greatest challenges:
-Protecting southern resident orcas
-Responding to the challenges of climate change
-Reducing the impact of recreational boating
-Preventing a catastrophic oil spill on our coast
On January 21, 2020, we will discuss how we are working to tackle these problems in an informal workshop (with snacks!) hosted by the Georgia Strait Alliance. You will have the opportunity to connect with our team and discover more about our campaigns and how you can get involved as a volunteer.
