I-Hos Night Market is an annual night market held during “Festival Weekend in Comox”. July 30th and July 31st from 4pm - 9pm and we invite you to bring the whole family to our original K'omoks Village site.
Tasty bannock with savoury jam is cooked fresh on site and is a must for you to taste. This is a recipe handed down from generation to generation with a few tweaks here and there. Wild sockeye salmon (Yum) available in two ways, smoked candied salmon with a secret recipe and salmon skews in a lemon and pepper marinate.
We will have two traditional North West Coast workshops cedar hat weaving and 14inch deer hide drum. Yes, you get to keep your hat or drum depending on the workshop you decide on. Prices will be listed on our website and facebook page.
And let’s not forget unique artisan offerings that will be available for your purchasing delight. Sunday night come watch cultural dance group Kumugwe Dancers in the Big House, contact I-Hos Gallery for tickets for this must see performance.
