Illvis Freshly has officially found the funk, and moulded it in to a bass heavy, hip hop monster. They’ve blended the classic sample heavy hip hop sound of the 90s with live rock n roll guitar, harmonica and turntablisim. The two MCs, Danimal House and Doc Zoo, bring high energy, raw, and unforgiving lyrics with complex flows and a wide variety of content and themes.

The Funkee Wadd is always bringing the flavour with precise cuts and scratches and constantly keeping the party live. Phil Lyons absolutely shreds the guitar, captivating the crowd with face melting riffs and his ridiculously entertaining antics. Illvis Freshly just released their first full length album “What Chu Know About Illvis?”, receiving huge support from the world-wide Hip Hop, Funk, and Electronic scenes. They have had the chance to share the stage with many incredible acts such as Souls Of Mischief, Neon Steve, Obie Trice, Skiitour, Stickybuds, Ghettosocks, Emotionz, Scott Jackson, Fresh Killz, and many more. The summer of 2015 has been a pivotal year for the boys, heading all across BC performing at amazing festivals such as Atmosphere Gathering, Shambhala Music Festival and local festivals, Rifflandia and Tall Tree Music Festival, where they were voted in by the community of Victoria and beyond to perform. Illvis Freshly is bringing the ruckus to the west coast, straight goods.

PLUS The ButterFinger Bomsquad, are a couple of hometown boys, who just love doing what they do. What this unlikely pair of beat poets bring to the stage is a combination of high energy performance, concise, witty wordplay, and booty shaking production. The fellas have a combined shoe size of 25, and a combined stage experience of 35 years, having opened for the likes of Tech Nine , Chali 2na , 2 live Crew, as well as many artists without a number in their name. Whether it’s big festivals, (including a recent appearance at Atmosphere Gathering ), or the local legend Bar shows, The Butterfinger Bombsquad has a vested interested in seeing that no rug goes uncut.
