Imaginary Gardens Drawing Workshop for Children

Celebrate Spring by creating an imaginary garden using mixed media. Taking inspiration from real flowers and your imagination you will play with colour, scale and composition as you create a magical garden.
You will use a variety of media such as chalk pastel, watercolour pencil crayons, fine liner pens, Sharpies, pencil and crayons. Fill your garden with flowers, ferns, feathers and fauna as you express your imaginary world.
Students: ages 7 - 11
Date: Tuesday, April 7th, 2015
Time: 10am -- noon
Location: Little Red Church Healing Centre

Instructor: I am a BC Certified teacher and exhibiting painter. I have taught art in schools, galleries, recreation centres and at festivals. My greatest inspiration is nature and my explorations outdoors.
