Awards Ceremony: April 18th

Do you know an individual or group who has made an impact in our community? The Impact Awards stand as an important recognition tool for the various volunteers who go above and beyond the call of duty. Many local non-profits and community citizens struggle to find ways to honour the volunteers for whom average recognition falls short of the volunteer’s contributions. Community members are invited to nominate a volunteer or a group of volunteers in one of 10 categories; 

Brad Erhardt Memorial Award.
Citizen of the Century Award
Volunteer Administrator of the Year
Under 24 Impact Award
Social Justice Impact Award
Sports & Recreation Impact Award
Arts & Culture Impact Award
Furry, Finned, Feathered and other Friends Impact Award
Education & Lifelong Learning Impact Award
Health, Safety and Emergency Services Impact Award
Environmental Protection & Enhancement Impact Award

The winners and those who nominated them will be contacted before National Volunteer Week, and invited to attend the Gala of Giving (April 18th) to receive their awards.
