A Cappella Plus, in collaboration with the Village Voices of Qualicum Beach invite you to join them!
They are IN THE MOOD for fun and frolic! There may even be some frivolity thrown in for fun! Our program opens with the theme song, In the Mood, a jazz tune from the Big Band Era. It also includes other jazz-flavoured numbers like Java Jive and It was a Lover and His Lass. We are having all kinds of fun with Twentiana, a choral montage of songs of the 20s: songs like Bye Bye Blackbird, Carolina in the Morning and Charleston, to name just a few. With a little help from the sopranos and altos, our tenors and basses will wow us with Who Wrote the Book of Love? Rick joins the women to provide vocal rhythm for You Can’t Hurry Love. This is a program with a lot of variety and entertainment built in.
