In this workshop, we will dive into the preparation of herbal teas, tinctures and salves. Infusions, decoctions and solar and lunar infusions will be defined, as well as what herbs are best extracted through these methods. Then we will discuss the wonderful system of extracting plant constituents through tinctures. A few different methods of tincturing will be demonstrated and a few plant profiles will be provided for you to take home to experiment with. Lastly, we will make a salve together, and Jessy will show you a few different ways herbs can be infused in oil as well as what plants make the best oils. Be prepared to get your hands a little messy while we make a wonderful healing creation together for you to take home!
