The Basic Skirt Block
Learn proven fashion industry pattern making techniques to professionally draft the basic skirt block using individual body measurements for a personalized fit. In this hands-on class students will draft, sew, and fit personalized skirt blocks, which can then be used to create their own, made to measure designs. No previous patternmaking experience is necessary. Students will leave the class with a skirt block drafted and fit to their personal measurements and the knowledge of how to make a skirt block for any set of body measurements. This is the perfect class for aspiring designers and beginner patternmakers, or home sewers wanting to develop their own patterns.
