Nathan Senner is a local musician well known for his moving songs about life and the human condition. Senner has been writing for more than 30 years, has produced and recorded two original CD’s, “Dance in the Moon” and “Wings of Change” and is currently at work on his 3rd album ‘Mask’ set for release this summer. With a style that has been compared to artists like James Taylor, Marc Cohn, and Jim Croce, Senner is a welcomed performer at local music venues, community events and festivals including Vancouver Island Musicfest, and the Island Folk Festival in Duncan. He is a respected songwriter, three-time finalist in the Cowichan Folk guild songwriting competition, and he was nominated for both ‘Song of the Year’ and ‘Vocalist of the Year’ at the Vancouver Island Music Awards. Sue Pyper is an award winning Canadian singer/songwriter originally from London, UK. Her personal travels, both geographical and emotional, have inspired gentle, insightful, and heartfelt songs that look at life from all angles and visit themes of both hope and hardship. Women of Substance Radio describes her music as "Heavily influenced by pioneering singer/songwriters of the 70s like John Denver, Jim Croce and Joni Mitchell, Sue Pyper's music is rooted in timeless acoustic folk, and on par with current folk artists like Mary Chapin Carpenter, Patty Griffin and Dar Williams."
